Merino/Silk Top (50/50) for Hand Spinning - 'Patina’ sale This braid is a littleA 100g gram braid of a luxurious blend of merino wool and natural Tussah silk (50% silk 50% wool). A lovely soft and well blended mix, which will spin up to give a well bodied, yet lustrous yarn. This fibre would also wet felt or needle felt well. The fibre was dyed with random mixtures and applications of colour, so the colourway is unrepeatable and unique. In some of our colourways the dye only partly penetrates the fibre in places, or splashes of
